Capillary Mattes
A flat layer of closely-knit tubes spaced very close together mimics a homogeneous layer of water. This system is flexible, and adapts well to any ceiling configuration including, but not limited to, plaster, plasterboard and metal tray ceilings. |

Metal ceiling trays specially outfitted with copper piping. A modular solution that can adapt to any ceiling geometry. Well-suited to office buildings. |
Thermoactive Prefabricated Slab
Multilayer plastic piping is pre-set inside a prefabricated concrete slab. This system reduces installation costs and allows the piping to make use of the concrete flooring’s inertia to its benefit (Activated Ceiling). |

The radiant ceilings exploit the natural phenomenon of energy exchange through radiation. This phenomenon is the same that brings us heat from the sun; No ventilation is necessary for our climate control system. The ceilings are heated or cooled thanks to integrated piping that flows water through the ceiling. The radiant ceiling will spontaneously exchange heat with the rooms it covers and will either heat or cool the room, whether you run hot or cold water through the piping, respectively. |
The advantages of installing radiant ceiling climate control is that with a large surface area, we can obtain very powerful heating or cooling, using only running water within a small temperature range (between 15°C and 35°C). This small range allows our system to be compatible with any renewable energy source (Solar, geothermal, etc...) KaRo ceilings are often installed in buildings with high energy needs aiming to obtain energy performance labels such as the BBC, Minergie and higher performance ratings. |
